Furniture & Appliances Program
at the Keady Center
for families and individuals in need in South Lincoln County –
Seal Rock, Waldport, Yachats, Tidewater, Five Rivers, and Ten Mile.
Taking donations at Keady Center
• Donors may bring in furniture and appliances ONLY during SLR
hours.
• Items must be clean and ready to use.
Picking up donations
• An SLR crew can pick up large items or large quantity items by
appointment.
We do NOT take:
• built-in type appliances and gas appliances
• computers, fax machines, typewriters
• TV's, radios, and/or record players in consoles
• hide-a-beds, king size beds, water beds, craftmatic-type beds, double
recliners
• large office size desks (4'x6' tops)
• exercise equipment
SLR crews decide Yes or No
• Crew will inspect condition of items and decide whether to
accept or deny.
• Crew health and safety is a consideration concerning size and weight of
items.
• Receipts are given by request and are for items with value. (Donor
should have photos of items for tax purposes.)
• Some items of value may be saved for sale to help cover program
expenses.
This is NOT a shopping warehouse
— Items taken are NOT to be sold
We reserve the right:
to limit number of items taken; to limit number of visits; to refuse
service.
Out of area visitors...
Approved referral requested and one visit limit.

Holding items
Items tagged for later pickup will be held for one full week only.
